Looks like I have to get a job

Well, so I haven't worked since I got my associates degree three years ago. But my mom said today she will stop my payments if I don't start working. So, I have to get a job. I have to put together a resume and everything (should be easy since I never worked, right?....) Well, everybody wish me luck because I start my job search soon.

Good luck Larry. Searching for a job is never easy. I worked from the time I was a sophomore in college until I had my stroke (no longer able to work). There is a job out there crying for you to fill it.

Thanks for all the encouragement, everybody. I have some good news. I just got off the phone with a friend of my uncle's who owns an upscale restaurant two towns over. They are looking for somebody to do the accounting and he agreed to give me an interview. It's scheduled for next Monday. To be honest it's not really what I want to do even though I am trained as an accountant, but it might be fun to work at a fancy restaurant until I get something else cooked up (hehe..get it?...'cooked up'...Oh, nevermind). The job is part time too which I like. But it is encouraging to have an interview scheduled just one day after starting the job search...We'll just have to see if it's a fit.
