I don't know whether Lyssie is aware of that quote, or who quoted it, but I'm absolutely certain that she is extremely aware of the sentiment of the quote. Indeed, it's usually the concerted efforts of a very few, extraordinary individuals that engender change...at any time and place in both historical and present day situations. I believe that Lyssie is developing into one of these people. She has certainly affected and effected change in what she's already accomplished and I can see her reaching even greater heights of accomplishment in her humanitarian work in the future.
I have a lot of faith in her, and I know she can excel in whatever she sets out to do:)

I'm big into humanitarian efforts and a huge fan of Mother Teresa and her works - You should really check her out! That woman achieved in building an organization with NOTHING to help those with A LOT less.
:) It's really sad to see that those people who TRULY deserve credit for the humanitarian work - rarely gets it. It's these people who work behind the scenes and are unseen that deserve so much more in terms of recognition.
Just a thought!
