If you could have lived in any other decade, or era, in history, which would you choose, and why?
For me, I can't choose...Anywhere between 1920-1979. I find things set in those times interesting, and I wish I could have been alive to see it...of course, I'd be older now  :D
What about you lovely people? :p
Ohh... probably sometime in the 1920s. That era is just amazing... the incredible wealth, the dancing, the outfits.. it just seems a bit magical. LOL.. I'm a total girl :)

Sometime in more ancient history for me...maybe even before the whole industrial revolution, when people were more connected to the earth and animals, and the days were struggles in very different, but essential ways. I am so happy in life now, but the world and "civilization" with all its amazing technolgical advances and life style seems so screwed up to me. People are yearning for the wrong things, and are barely happy when the essentials are there. I might have really enjoyed being a farmer of some kind, a "worker bee", some kind of physical job, where a hot bath and a good dinner with vivid conversation and appreciation at the end of the day brought real peace. That probably sounds kind of corny ... even to me, but there still would be art and creativity in my life, but just not superficial desire for things that seem so stupid to me.

Ancient Egypt I think is the one place for me :D Or maybe ancient Greece  Although I wouldn't want to be one of the slaves! But I love the glamour (if thats even the right word), everything from around those 2 times fascinates me :)

I couldn't agree more, people in third world countries suffer with disease and lack of food/water, whilst we take everything we have for granted. Yet they value family and friendship I think alot more than what some of us do here. They always seem to be happier the less they have been affected by the modern world. Also, everything they have they seem so thankful for, yet you get spoiled children, even adults, that don't seem thankful for anything they have and take everything for granted
