I hope Claudia ("Peruvian Fan") is safe.

Hey Lyssie,
Congrats on the Blue Hour being accepted for best director in San Sebastian's festival. I am really happy for that.
I will keep on praying for those who lost their relatives in Peru's quake and in Utah's mining accident. There have been so many tragedies around the world lately that sadly it is hard to keep up. The latest, hurricane Dean. Lucky there are organizations like UNICEF out there to help those in need.
Thanks for keeping us updated :)

Thanks for the info.:D
Alyssa, you are always doing your best to bring tragic situations to our attention, in the hope that your voice will inspire people to act. You do inspire and encourage action; along with compassion, caring for humanity and thoughts for those who are in less fortunate circumstances that ourselves.
My prayers and thoughts are with the friends and family affected by the Utah mining accident, and for the thousands of people who are suffering emotionally, physically and financially as a result of the earthquake in Peru. Let's hope, like you, that we can all pull together and do our bit for others.
Congratulations on the Blue Hour being accepted into the San Sebastian Film Festival. You must be very proud :)
Please take care of yourself. Good luck with your Touch designing for '08.

My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the families of and the miners. I'm afraid there is little hope for their survival at this point but I will continue to hold out that hope as long as possible. If they are passed at this point I pray that it was quick for them and that their families find closure.
I also send my thoughts and prayers to those who suffered from the catastrophic quake in Peru. I hope that any of our friends here at CL from that part of the world are safe. I hope everyone remembers that every little bit helps
And of course congrats on your film!

I think you are amazing Alyssa!! Always helping people. You are like an angel in earth. I think there just a few people like you. And to use your fame to help more to those who need it, oh man!! it's admirable. You emanate love, peace, kindness... and a lot more that I can't explain with words. I'll also pray for the Peru and Utah people.
