hey everyone- what's going on? looks like ALOT since i last posted. i have been out of town working and apologize for not posting recently. lots to report and hope everyone is doing well.

let's see where do i begin? first...i forgot my password to sign on to this board. yes, im an idiot. not smart when i want to reply to messages, huh? it's all settled now and here i am!

im back in los angeles and it is hot! i have some exciting news to report about the next film that i am producing through my company. and NO, it doesnt have Jessica Simpson in it for those of you are sick and tired of reading about Blonde Ambition. this is something i have been working really hard on for a little over a year now and have kept under the radar. i really wish i could give you more details, but i have to keep it quiet for a while longer. we hope to start shooting at the end of the year and need to keep it confidential right up until production. it has been a very elaborate work in progress and i am proud of the team that has been assembled on it. It is so different from anything you would ever think would come out of my company (well at least so far). i really want to tell you more...but Hate to do this to you for now...BUT....keep you posted.

on another note, and yes back to blonde ambition....to be honest....im not quite sure what is going to happen to this one. there are alot of internet rumors out there about it going straight to dvd. as i have been very public about in the past WHEN asked- and this is no new information....BLONDE AMBITION was not blonde ambition when it started. it really became a much different project after certain people became attached to it...and i decided as a result to be a little hands off during production because of it. that said, im not sure of it's fate...but regardless i think all luke wilson fans will embrace it. it really does have some funny moments and HEY...it's not supposed to be some life altering serious piece. it's jessica doing what she does best...playing goofy, stupid and hot! and luke falling for that. i never said it would win an oscar so keep that in mind when you see it.

also everyone keeps asking me in interviews and online- "when are you going to act again? are you going to act again?" the answer is simply...YES. I have not given up acting at all. it takes a lot of time and energy to create and run a business as most of you know. i have always had a passion for creating entertaining projects. when i formed the company right before the end of malcolm, i decided that i was going to really try and put all of my energy or at least 95% of it into launching and building J2. as a result, we are developing and producing some really unique projects and i am really enjoying myself. i am really enjoying the process of development and production.

malcolm in the middle to me was such a well written show. there was a great staff of writers and the storylines were really well done. because of that, i have to admit, that i got a little picky about what i wanted to do next as an actor. i have gotten picky about the writers and directors i want to work with. since that was such a great experience and really like a second family, i decided that after MITM that i am only going to work with friends and people i like. why work if it cant be fun?

for those animal lovers out there who have inquired about my dogs (yes, can you believe so many people really care?? its actually nice) .... they are alive and kickin. doing great.

i hope everyone is having a good summer. i guess that's my update for now.

although i dont always write , i do read the boards often, and appreciate your support.

Glad to hear you got the password issue resolved and that all is going well with you. I'm very intrigued about this new J2 project you mention and can't wait to learn more later this fall or winter. :cool:

While I know most (all?) of us would love for you to take on another acting project, the most important thing is that you're having fun and enjoying what you're doing. And it sounds as though you are definitely enjoying the production side of the business and I think that's awesome. J2 projects in development that we do know about so far all sound very exciting and I can't wait to see them on the big and small screen as time goes on. As you know, we'll always be here to support you in all of your future endeavors.

Thanks for the update on your dogs. Count me in as one of those who like to know how they're doing. :D Glad to hear they're doing well!

I couldn't agree more with what you say about MITM. As I've said many a time, I'm not so sure they'll ever be another sitcom as well written and acted as MITM. It really is in a class by itself and I honestly can't believe the finale was over 15 months ago! And you're right, work should absolutely be fun.

Heya Justin,

It's really great that you post and update at all, much better than alot of celebs who ignore thier fans. As far as Blonde Ambition, its a shame if it doesn't hit cinema's as I'm sure it would do ok, the trailer seemed alot better than some of the stuff thats on the big screen.

We will keep an eye out for your new stuff, even if your being all anoying and secret :p :D

Malcolm will of course be hard (impossible?) to beat, but there are lots of great projects out there and your in a lucky position of being able to pick :)

It's great that we're going to be seeing more of your acting, it must be really hard to find something you're going to enjoy as much (if that's possible) as you did MITM, but we still all love to see your work outside of acting aswell, not many people can work both sides of the camera and make such a successful career out of it :D

Ohhh and thanks for the update on your dogs :D Do they ever travel with you? I know our dogs love it when they get to go travelling :)

lol, the password thing was so funny... and dw, i've been there twice (and i bet most of us have been in that situation too lol) :p luckily for us you were able to find your way into the boards :)... so the solution to that problem is: POST MORE OFTEN!! :mad: nah just kidding :D well, it'd be awesome to see you posting every single day, but i know that wouldn't be possible for you... so no matter how long i have to wait for a new post i'm always happy to read what you have to tell us, your fans, and i really really appreciate it.

Congrats on making a plan and sticking with it. I;m sure all will work out well and I'm looking forward to seeing what's new with J2. I'll have to agree with some of the others, finding a show that's as fun to do and has the quality that Malcolm had is setting the bar pretty high. But I sure hope such an acting project comes along soon.

I'm waiting patiently for some of your projects on J2TV to be finished, and trust me, we all are into them. I'm sure Blonde Ambition will be great. But I'm really eager to see "Romance & Cigarettes" but it hasn't been realesed here in Mexico. So we can only wait, lol.
I know that I'd love to see you back infront of the camera, but the main thing is that is a project that you feel excited and motivated to do, because nothing can be great if we don't put our hearts into it.

I really wouldn't think about asking you how your dogs are doing but chances are since you mentioned it it may pop up in my mind from time to time and its nice to know about them anyway so thanks for telling.

Can't wait to hear about that new project you mentioned, in fact not knowing anything about it just makes it that much more exciting to wait for what it really is. Also, I wouldn't worry about if blonde ambition doesn't go the way that you had expected or hoped it would. You're gonna produce plenty of great stuff in the future so you can always look forward to that, either way you have my support. For now I've been having some fun watching some of your older movies, that you acted in. Although "Wanted" has been kind of a challenge to find in stores but luckily not online which is where I should have looked in the first place and I'll be able to watch that soon too.

Even though it would be cool if you posted more often, its completely understandable that you don't post all the time, your living your life and theres nothing wrong with that.

what an absolute pleasure it is to see you here again. I'm sorry I'm so late in reading this - I've been doing trial exams for my final year of school. It's nice to kick back and relax with some friends at your board. What a treat to read your latest thoughts!

First off, Blonde Ambition. Movies are movies in my opinion; you've got the good, the bad, the ok and the ones that jump out. I'm a big movie buff and I'll watch something even if the reviews aren't great or it's not everyone's favourite movie. If you get one fan out of your movie, you've done your job. If it comes out, I'll definitely take a look to support your efforts with it.

Secondly, yay for the puppies being alive and kicking. Glad to hear all is well with them ;) Also great that you're still up for acting, but I really agree with all that you said about MITM and finding people that are so great to work with again. Be picky! You're allowed to want to go to work and want to have fun ;)
