I for one agree that the Earth's climate is changing. However, I can not believe whole heartedly that the main cause of global warming is human generated. That is not to say humans do not contribute, because they do. All I'm saying is that if one really wants to engage in healthy debate please research all the facts, (pros and cons) before blaming it all on humankind.
In my opinion I believe that Global Warming is a natural cycle which humans have no control over. One of those natural contributors to global warming is the sun. Papers by Dr Theodore Landscheidt who studied the sun quite extensively would attest to that. Other contributing factors are volcanos and inter Earth thermal activities, a shift in the Earth's tilt and the Earth's crust is slipping on the mantle, a.k.a. Pole Shift.
As to the people who say that the debate is over, I say take the blinders off because there is no absolutes in science or in life, there is plenty of room for discovery and debate, that is what makes us human.

Precisely, Dave. Even though we are contributing a substantial amount to the present warming of the climate, scientist still don't yet know enough about the dynamics of the entire climatic system to really say for sure what's doing what. They can make a very good educated assumption as to what is causing the warming, that's all. It doesn't mean though that we should just sit back and not do anything about our CO2 (and other gases) output. We should... it's better not to aggrevate anything that may cause unintentional change for the worse. I would rather err on the side of caution than just let things continue in the manner in which they are presently moving.

Anthropogenic Global Warming is also exacerbated by AWSE (Asphalt-Weather Station Encroachment) and M! (Media!). The combined effect has been simply AWSEM! :p :D

Good one:D:D
And a lot of people don't know how right that is in many cases!!

Let's have a look at some data, Ozzie. The NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration) gathers its temperature data from a network of 1,221 simple weather stations across the USA, mostly being not much more than thermometers inside some sort of enclosure.
So let's have a look at some of this data from the station in Forest Grove, OR, which CLEARLY shows recent warming:

Nobody in their right mind would argue that this shows a very recent warming trend.
Now here's where I will agree that its cause is indeed undoubtably anthropogenic:

Care to guess from the graph what year that air-conditioner was installed? ;)
I don't want to post too many images, but let's post one more, of a station in Lovelock, NV Derby Field:

I leave you to draw your own conclusions...

What a lot of people don't realise is that having the thermometres where they are, they're in situations where the ambient air temp can be anywhere upto several degrees warmer on average than the normal surroundings. The only way you could deduce a warming trend from boxes like these is if you kept taking temps from them over a long period of time and graphed the results. Even then, you couldn't be too sure if your figures were correct. To be reasonably sure, you'd have to take temps for about 50-100 years to get an average of statistically significant results...from each box!!!.
As for the warming at the box in Derby Field, that easily accounted for. Everytime the pilot of that MIG-17 fires up his engines and hits the afterburner, the exhaust hits the box!!!:p:D
Viola...instant warming:D

Well, Tbh, I Know I Should Care More Well i doo Care Loads About the Environment I Meen i don't Litter Or Owt, but My Nan Said when she Was Little Poeple Were saying the Same thign About Global Warming ?
Soo Maybee It Will Happen Maybee It won't I think We Should Just Help those Less fortunate And think About Right Here and Right Now , Not About the Future,It's called the future For a Reason No-one Know's Whats goign to Happen
That's My Opinion ! :D
