I hope you all had a chance to watch the beginning of our new season of Biggest Loser tonight. It's been such an awesome holiday for me. Dave and I had so much free time to play with Ben and do fun family stuff. And now it's over. sigh. Back to work! :)
But actually, i am really excited to get back to campus. I am having such a great time with Bob and Jillian and the contestants in this season. We're a little more than halfway through the season. And let me tell you, the competition is fierce. It is seriously intense. But, I love everyone here and it is as hard as ever to say goodbye to someone in the elimination room.

Hope you guys go with me on this journey, because I love reading what you think about the episodes.
I blog (http://blog.nbc.com/alison/) about each episode. But I'd love to chat with you guys about the contestants, what they're like what the challenges are like etc, if you have questions... let me know!!!

Like seriously - those balloons were really heavy. It was HARD to try and push them around. And I really like Paul and Kelly. they are great people. I had no idea he would blurt that out at the weigh-in like that. And he obviously felt so bad about it. We actually talked a lot more about it than they showed... it's tough, there are often tears on the scale, and we do spend time talking and working through stuff that doesn't always make it to air. Like when Bob was so supportive of Ali getting on the scale because she was nervous about the big numbers. That was a whole thing - and everyone there was rooting her on. It's a really supportive environment with really great people. And who better to lead them on than Bob and Jillian?!

Okay - enough about that! I gotta sleep!!! :p

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Hi Ali! I most definitely watched the beginning of the new season of Biggest Loser on Tuesday night, and I have to say I love seeing how involved you are with a show that tries to help people to lead healthier lives since afterall the U.S. is indeed the heaviest nation on the planet. Keep up the excellent work,as I'll be tuning in every week while the couples journey down that long road to being more fit than they were when they came on the show.
