Melody having worked for an attorney who handled SSA disability claims I kind of knew this would happen. Just do what your attorney says & keep all medical information & records. Sometimes it takes quite a while to finally get the benefits but if & when you win they usually give you all back payments due to you.

Melody I had no inside information. I just worked for an attorney who handled disability claims. Very rarely do they grant disability to a person when they first apply for it. My case was a no brainer. I was paralyzed & had the medical proof. I'm not sure what else you want.

Melody just as we have rules here to follow the disability people have rules/guidelines they must follow. A person must meet their guidelines to receive disability. Sometimes it take one appeal, sometimes two appeals & sometimes all 3 appeals that are allowed. Even then a person may not receive disability even though they feel they should. I do not know what their guidelines are or how they decide. That is what your attorney is for. Just keep in mind that having a lot of different problems may not meet their guidelines for disability. I wish you luck.
