ha! So last week's ep of BL was when I was SO SICK!!! We shot this episode at the same time as Grandpa Shawn's wake on Days... when I was sent home for the first time in my entire career at Days.
I shot the funeral scenes on Thursday, and by the end, I was literally aching from head to foot. But, I still had to go shoot the challenge at the basketball court that night. It was funny to watch that episode this week, and listen for my voice to crack, and to see myself fighting to be enthusiastic with no energy. lol.
Friday was the day of G. Shawn's wake at the Brady Pub. James and I shot a whole othe episode out-of-order and then we headed to the Pub, by lunch I wanted to die. Raise your hand if you got this flu this year. Every parent I know warned me that I should expect to get sick every few weeks Ben's whole first winter at school.

next week's ep we went to Australia! It worked out so great, we shot while Days was on hiatus for a week, so my days schedule wasn't affected at all. Australia was INCREDIBLE!!!! I got great advice from Thaao, Dee, Drake and ... blast from the past... Justin Melvey. He was SO kind and generous, spending an hour on the phone with me recommending something for me to do with every minute of my free time. But... more on all that after you see the show!! ;)

:raises hand: But then I work at a hospital. My favorite is checking in patients who aren't near as sick as me.

Me Too!! Me Too!! -- the worst part was I passed it on to the boys....yikes!!!

They seemed to pull through like troopers, I was down for the count, I couldn't imagine actually leaving the house, let alone working! I could barely stand up!

Glad we are getting through the flu season!

Uggg... we had the flu around here this year too.
This was our first year of school. Everyone told me that we would be sick all winter when Ethan went to school. I figured it was 3 days a week, only in the morning, how bad could it be. Well, they were right and we spread colds, flu and lots of other **** through our house of 6 all winter. And of course to top it off, I was pregnant and could take nothing. Oh well, I will be prepared next year when I have 2 in preschool.

Hope everyone is feeling better now, and done getting sick!!

I must raise my hands too. Even though I don't have kids I work at a College where many of the students and staff were sick. I was only out for one day, but the previous days prior I worked 16 hours for 3 days straight. In addition, I have an elementary school "Lunch Buddy". I'm sure I caught something from that school as well.
