Fact... we are all here because of our fondness and respect for ALyssa.
Fact... we all enjoy when she is able to join us here on CL via a thread or website blog.
Fact... we all read every single word she writes; whether it be here at CL or at MLB marveling in her ability to paint a wonderful portrait with words in her blogs.
Fact... we admire her work ethic and sense of community (ie humanitarian work).
Fact... we thoroughly enjoy her compilation of cinematic work; whether its comedy or drama
... in movies or TV.
Fact... we all wait eagerly to hear what new projects she has become involved in.
Fact ... we most likely can't begin to fathom the security issues that arise b/c of notariety.
Fact... we probably all agree that fame has its advantages and disadvantages.
Fact... and most would say she has inspired us to be more than we could be...

That being said, we must realize there is a cost to us...
You wouldn't think there'd be one but there is... that of selflessness.

The minute we begin expecting her to be here with us...
replying to our threads, posts, letters etc,
we diminish the image and respect we have for her as a person,
(and the work she does) because now we are putting a price on our support of her...
I believe Alyssa's fans are some of the kindest I have ever met.
New ones are added each day...
They are definitely a product of their environment.... this environment.

May we all remain fans of ALyssa, whose devotion is unconditional.

I was drawn to this website first by Alyssa but I stayed because of the amazing people - the community of support for Alyssa and for everyone here. I don't think of this site as 'what I could get in return' but of as an amazing place of fun, stories, support, and inspiration.

I feel lucky to get 'first hand' updates from Alyssa and know how fortunate we are when Lin shares with us her stories and family information.

So, 'Thanks' to Lin and Alyssa for this wonderful place for all of us to meet and share our common interests, and thanks to moderators for the hard work and wonderful job you do to keep this site what it was meant to be, and thanks to all the members for your positive and supportive messages.

I could never imagine the life that Alyssa leads and what goes with it, and I try my best not to. Not because I think it is bad...I couldn't imagine what life in the public eye is like, and I might even guess that it's more 'normal' than we realize. But, I try to live my life to the fullest and be the best person that I can I be; I am definitely inspired by this site to do that and to keep at it daily. I hope that's what we all do.

That was wonderful! You write very well! I agree with you on everything! I do understand that it is impossible for Alyssa to respond to every fan out there! We all are on here to discuss the amazing work and talent Alyssa has, and that is all! When Alyssa has time, we would all just love for her to make posts/threads and answer questions, but that should not be our main motivation for being here! That should just be considered a wonderful gift, when she has enough time to get in touch with her fans! We all love you Alyssa and hope you are doing great and don't feel that the only way to make us happy is to write us!

We are all happy being part of this board and talking about the wonderful aspects of your being! From your amazing outer beauty, and your beautiful inner beauty! That was very well written, and I couldn't agree more! I'm just so thankful that Alyssa even comes to this site, and that she even posts blogs and stuff! I think it's amazing that she cares about us fans when she has so many other things going on. Seriously, I cannot image the stress in her life. I have a hard time just with school/work/and family. I honestly couldn't do what Alyssa does, and yet she still finds the time to help others and put a smile on other peoples faces. ALYSSA IS AMAZING AND I'M HER FAN 'TIL THE END! no matter what :]

I completely agree with what you are saying. Like Lori, I joined this board to show my love and support for Alyssa not expecting anything in return. I feel grateful that Alyssa and Lin take time out from their busy schedules to keep us updated with what Alyssa is doing and even answer some of our questions because I know that not a lot of celebrities do that.

I don’t mean to disrespect or upset anyone on the board but I personally think that messages left on the board asking Lyssa to reply to messages shouldn’t be allowed. Lyssa deserves her space and privacy and as fans we should respect that. We shouldn't expect her to visit the board or leave messages for us all the time because we know how busy she is.

I've joined Celebrity Loop, because I've been an Alyssa fan since 1997 and I love her. She is a great actress and she is a wonderful person with a big heart. She gives me strength to continue.

Thanks to her, I've met wonderful members and moderators like Vick, Reesa (Nooker), Rye (Ryebeach), and Zoee on Celebrity Loop. I thank Alyssa, Lin and Feles so much for that.

I totally agree with everyone. We shouldn't ask so much from Alyssa, when she does alot more than many actress do for their fans, for exmaple keeping us upto date with her new films/tv shows and blogging!
