Scientists say that Arctica's and Antarctica's ice's will
thaw because of Global warming. And as result part of dry land will be flooded. But i think that they forget take into account the intensification of ocean's water's evaporation because of Global warming. So we can waiting the increase of sediments from the sky more then a flooding of land by oceans.

If, and it's a big if, the planet warmed up enough to raise the temperature to the levels it was back in the mid-Palaeocene to Late Eocene (which would mean a level of CO2 about 3-5 times present levels), then you'd have around 60-75 metres of ocean rise. In some places, this would push back coastlines several hundred kilometers, in most other parts 10- 100kms. All due to a complete melting of the Antarctic icecap. The only way this would occur is if we reach a critical point in the heating of the globe where a cascading runaway heating effect was initiated.

Recent flood (rains) in state Iowa could be partially consequence of increase of atmosphere's damp
because of increase of ocean's(sea, lake, river) evaporation.

Effects of global warming are already visible in the Alps. Glaciers in Austria and Switzerland are getting smaller. There are estimations that all of the Swiss glaciers will vanish within less than 100 years. Glaciers stabilize mountains, without them the static in these local areas changes.
Countries in the ocean like Kiribati and Vanuatu will possibly vanish, if the people there don't find new places or solutions.
A lot of people live close to the sea, I wouldn't be surprised, if there are like 70 per cent of the worldwide population living only 100 kilometers away from the sea.
