hello everyone! i sit here writing this after many, many hours of fussing over my hair, trying to turn me into a blonde, and so far it has been a success. the reason i did this is not because i am abandoning the world of brunettes, ( which i am extemely fond of, and may return to it as soon as i can!) but fulfilling my duties as an actress! i am leaving for montreal soon to film a Lifetime movie called "I DO BUT I DONT" starring denise richards and yours truly. /images/graemlins/wink.gif it'll be great to be part of the romantic comedy world again! unfortunately, i cannot attend the monte carlo festival anymore as i will be working. so, i may be absent for the month, but will let u know how it all went! i am thrilled to be back in my hometown!

Hi Karen,
Congratulations on the new movie, getting to work with Denise Richards, and becoming a blonde.

Just for the fun of it, let us know if you recieve more attention as a blonde and if you're treated differently.
/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Were you a blonde in the movie "Summer?"

I'm not sure if the picture on the IMDB page is you or not.

I hope there are more Lifetime projects in your future.
Lifetime, abc Family Channel, TNT, TBS seem to be the only ones making good TV Movies these days. These channels sometimes run the older movies of the popular actors and actresses who appear on their airwaves. A perfect example of this is when the WB's Charmed became popular. TNT and Lifetime began running the past works of the show's actresses. These movies might have otherwise remained lost to their many fans. Diane Lane is an even bigger example. I'm hoping that we'll start to see a few of your movies, and maybe even a tv series or two. I wonder ... if they suddenly got a few emailed requests to see your movies from more than a few of your fans if they'd consider doing this.

I think it's worth a shot.

You're telling me! I was overrun with Lifetime movies of Shannen Doherty after Charmed started and I loved it!

why yes wolflike, that is me on the summer dvd cover. here's a little secret..... i did this shoot a few months ago ( 3 yrs after the filming!), and i of course, had changed my hair by then, so we slapped on a wig and the famous bathing cap i wear in the film and voila!! i swear that cap was used as a torture instrument somewhere in the world, it was so tight! that probably expains my "pug" look. some would say it is a coy look, i saw... OUCH!
i am so glad these montreal dudes got this thing off the ground, its my fav film i've ever done. here's one for the little guys! /images/graemlins/wink.gif
actually, when i went brunette.. after YEARS of being platinum blonde, i loved the anonymity... and sadly, more respect. /images/graemlins/confused.gif
speaking of sad... saying goodbye to my babies ( 4 legged ones that is...) boo hooooo! mummy'll be back before they know it. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Boy, Karen, you keep sneaking up on me. It's always sad to leave your babies (I mean pets) behind when you go away. They'll understand /images/graemlins/grin.gif I can't wait to see you in another role! Have the best time!

The picture looks great.
I can't wait to learn more about the "famous bathing cap."I hope this movie sells a billion copies. I'll write a glowing review on it's IMDB "comments" page. "Summer" is now on my "Must Have List." I'm going to order a copy tonight.

Platinum Blonde?
WOW
Sadly, Brunettes do get more respect.
A real Wolf ...er...man accepts and respects a woman for who she is despite the color of her hair. At least that's what they should be taught as kids. We are out there.

Brunettes may get more respect...but blondes deffinatly have more fun. And I'm stickin' with my old Marilyn stand by "Gentalmen prefer blondes". And that's all I have to say about that. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
I know your kitties and puppy will understand why you must go away. But you'll be home soon and they'll still love you as much if not more. How long must you be away from home? And never fear, we'll all be here to keep you company on those lonely nites when you need the comforts of home. If you ever have a chance while you're off at the shoot that is. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

If this story has a good ending I would think maybe Karen Cliche would want to keep up with computers.
I think that would be great. There is a career for someone on the internet of this type, I swear to ---.
Ten years or so ago I did watch Jenny Jones another Canadian?
And searching I found

Leaving pets is hard but they'll understand. animals are neat that way, they always understand you even if you confuse yourself /images/graemlins/grin.gif
I'll have to rent that movie, Summer, I've never seen it before but I've heard a lot and it sounds really good/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I'm glad I'm a brunette but I've always wanted to be a blonde
although for some reason everyone tells me I have blonde roots anyway/images/graemlins/confused.gif(LOL) I suppose I am a bit clumsy sometimes.

Pets do not understand being left completely.
Dogs get lost, cats get dirty and rodents try to escape.
Fish attempt to flee but fish have small minds.
Birds probably tend to get sick.

Above some posters said my posts were flummoxed.
That is not true. Jenny Jones was a VIP.
I have heard and read a long time before what you wrote about me.
I wish you were not coy or not flirtacious but that you did not have the motive of teasing me.
I could have kept silent and not posted.
I never wrote my problems were at all similar to your good works or problems you do not post about.
My original post is easier to understand than this reply but what you replied was rude.
I have heard this rudeness before from professional people but I did not bring this up on this board.
I used a different board.
And that is reputation . Not what you wrote that it is hard to understand something confusing.

Please explain this to me. I was rude? All I said was that I found it hard to understand what you posted cuz it was like, almost not related to the topic and then you rambled off into something else. If I offended you I'm sorry. But I find your posts hard to comprehend. Maybe I'm just slow. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif
