I remember Holly M C saying this about her when babies were on the set of Charmed. Oh, she is just so alive, isn't she! I mean, in the most enlivened, involved, real way! I know she's been quoted as saying that any time she wants a baby, she just gets another horse or dog, but I can't see this woman going through life not expressing this kind of love to her own baby. Oh Jim, I SO agree! I'll just take my baby cousin with me=] Ha, she is adorable so it will work like a charm!!

Alyssa would be such a remarkable mom. She just has that special thing, that special "mom touch" and I just know that if/when she ever has a child of her own, she will be the best mom ever. (And what a lucky kid that would be! Can you imagine?)

Well, it looks like we agree on another thing, Jim. I also think Alyssa would make the perfect mom, and those pics of her with the baby are so adorable. The moment I opened that slide show and saw the 3rd & 4th photos, my face formed a smile from ear to ear! It always makes me feel happy to see a kid who has a beautiful, loving mom. One of my mom's friend's friends is pregnant and since she is such a sweetheart, I bought a congratulations card for her last week. I'll bring it over to her sometime early this week.

But getting back on topic, I hope that Alyssa either has a kid or adopts one soon. She is such a caring, loving person, and I know that almost any kid in the world would love to have her for a mom.

I had to come back and look at this photo again. I love non-studio, non-photo-shoot shots of her. I mean, this isn't exactly candid, but it's a real woman in a real setting smiling into a regular guy's camera, and that makes her that much more tangible, somehow. As "real" as she'll ever be to me, which is why pics like this are so important to me.

As they say, the camera "loves her". I know she talks about having oily skin and complexion problems, but as far as I can tell, this is an absolutely flawless face. It could be carved in smooth alabaster or marble, on a column somewhere, gracing an arch over a stone entrance to a temple of old. It could grace the prow of a tall wooden ship, stand guard over a harbor port, stair down from a canvas in the Louvre. This could be the face of Nefertiti, Cleopatra, Helen, Guinevere, Bathsheba, or Salome. It's so completely beautiful and perfect that it's almost - almost - possible to view it in a sort of detached way, as an object of perfection, more to be studied than appreciated. But how can you not simply appreciate this face for what it is? An absolute paragon of feminine beauty.

That she would be humble, just a "girl making her living in front of a camera" with her head on her shoulders is just beyond amazing. This kind of beauty could command armies, launch navies. But, I think finally the thing that draws me most to her is that in every one of her pictures, no matter how staged, set up, glammed up, there is still an unmistakable trace of this humanity, this introspection, humility. I get the sense that she really would feel uncomfortable thinking that someone saw her as perfect, and yet I can hardly stop from thinking her so. I suspect she probably knows the power her beauty can have over people, and is mindful of this, respectful of it, almost humbled by her own beauty, or at least humble in spite of it, and would not seek to use it against someone. And if that's not true beauty, I'm blind and stupid.

This picture proves my point that Alyssa has the prettiest and most natural smile of all female celebs. She looks just as great in personal/candid photos as she does on TV and in modeling shoots.
