I think the Dodgers played well. The Phillies just had a little more. Sorry your guys lost, Alyssa.

A tough loss but a great series. Fox sports took a shot of Alyssa in the eighth inning with a very concerned look on her face. No one said a word. I think her expression said it all. Her Dodgers will be back next season with a strong performance.

Augh!! I don't know who was sadder you or me... When I saw you on the TV tonight with the towel on your head it just made me sadder. :(

I'm glad that this is the year I picked to make it to LA and take in a game with my parents, for thier anniversary, with Gary... May 5. Even had my parents anniversary on the wall between the 3rd and 6th inning.

My Dad is a long time Dodger fan.,. back to the Brooklyn days...and it's bleed into me.. Which is awesome. But I always root for the boys in Blue.. even over the only Canadian team... jays.. suck lol.

So All I can say is Sorry Alyssa then again as they say..... There is alway next year... And what's with Manny not coming back next year? that would serioulsy suck.....

Hey Lyssie, I know it's going to be a rough next few days, after the boys getting beat like this, but don't despair. They played well and were just beaten by the better team this time. If you need a "punching bag" for the next few days, I'll volunteer my services:eek::D. I'm big enough to take a few hits...the others, I'll just duck and weave in and out of your right hooks and uppercuts:p:D.

There's next year, and we'll be back bigger, badder and better than ever:D

Sorry your team lost. They tried but it just was not to be. Perhaps next year. Don't be too sad because look how far they got. You should be proud of the way they played.

Hi Alyssa I set my camera on the television and it only took pictures of Manny.
Then one of the pictures had 77777 on it. That was in the first few innings.
He got the home run. I guess my camera is psychic or something. Cool eh?
Like the time at the WB Charmed website I left a message at 12:00:00 am
That is pretty cool too. Anyways Love you whole bunches
Peace and Love, Bob Macdangdang:eek:

I'm sorry that your Dods lost, Alyssa.

But I'm sure that you would rather that Obama won the election and the Dods lost than vice virsa. Right?

Baseball breaks hearts. :(

I mean, it's a real heartbreaker.

Just ask die hard Tampa-Saint Petersburg baseball fans (both of them).

But after the World Series (I am really pulling for the upstart Rays to be there and win it all), take heart, because Spring Training is just on the other side of Winter.

Oh, and Spring Training for the Dodgers is going to be just a few miles from my house! Amazing. I would never have expected the Dodgers to train in The Valley of the Sun, home of the  Diamondbacks.

So, the bottom line here is, I'm saddened that the Western Division champs didn't make it to the next level, or all the way for that matter.

But on the upbeat, winter promises to be very interesting, baseball-wise.
