What is the status of the sequel to your excellent movie "2001 Maniacs"? You were excellent as Granny Boone. I can't wait to see you act as her again.

Sooooo sorry I am so late with this reply!! I just saw your post! Welcome to the site, and to tell you the truth I don't know the status! It has been very difficult for the producers and director to hold the money together, and to get Robert Englund and I together, at a "free moment!" There is a script, and there have been various producers, but so far, there is no firm "start date." I am hoping we do get it made early next year....as this year is almost over already! What happens to time!? I will keep you all posted! Lin

It is by far the scariest of them all! Hope you enjoy it....and "Sweet dreams!"....you know they are doing a remake...without Robert Englund...can't imagine it will be much of a Freddy without him.

I am going to watch "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" today in which you play a nurse. I may also watch "2001 Maniacs" again. I never get tired of that movie.

I just read Tim Sullivan's MySpace blog and it said that you finished shooting the sequel! I am so excited, I can't wait.

Yup! You are among the first to know! We shot in Iowa. It was a ball. Granny has lots more to do in this one, I am happy to say, and I know you will not be disappointed. I will keep you posted. !!! Thanks for your "fanship!" Lin

Are there any updates on this movie being released in theaters or DVD yet? I am still excited to see this movie. I know it will be great!
