Read em, they're awesome!!:D I just finished the 4th book the other day and I am seriously impressed with this woman's imagination. Interesting, fresh, new take on vampires. It's always good to put a new spin on something old...and take everyone by surprise.

Have you seen the movie?

Yes I've seen the movie which was also amazing! But the books are always way better, just because there's so much stuff they have to cut out to make the movie only 2hrs long. I'm very excited to see the second one tho. They're going to start filming it soon and it's due to be released sometime in 2010. Have you seen it? If you're planning to see it I would recommend reading the books first, just because then your imagination will have a chance to draw it's own pictures of what you think is happening. I did do it backwards tho, I saw the movie and then began reading the books and still enjoyed them very much. It's up to you I suppose which way you choose to do it. And it's not as if you wouldn't understand the movies if you never read the books. I just feel you're missing out if you don't experience both.

I went to see the film on Friday and I loved it, I think I may actually be a little obsessed. :D I've now got all of the books on order, hopefully they're coming in the post tomorrow. :) I think I'm going to have to see the film again some time soon lol.

I've just finished the third book, just about to start the fourth. ;) They are very addictive, there's so much more to the characters in the book, it wasn't the same seeing the film for a second time. The books have had me laughing out loud (I got a few weird looks from my family the time :D) and crying as well. Stephenie Meyer really does know how to make the reader feel as if they are living Bella's life. I'm just going to have to slow down on the fourth a bit now because I don't want it to end lol. :o

Hehe, that's how I felt too. That's part of the reason I want to read them again. They were just that good, and you do feel for these people and you do laugh out loud and want to cry and get angry. It's a great story. :)

oh.my.god. i think that i've found my favourite books EVER!!!
i actually bought twilight and new moon a couple of years back, totally forgot about them until i saw the film trailer (isnt rob pattinson HOT?? i think i may marry him!) but the books are simply mind-blowingly AWESOME!! stephenie's style of writing is brilliant, and after i finished reading breaking dawn, i actually cried! it really felt like i knew the characters. i had a dream that i was awake...weird, i know. and i was really bored, and i remember thinking, oh, i'll just phone edward coz he doesnt ever sleep....im so weird :D
i was a little disappointed in the film, but i think thats the case with every book made into a film.
did anyone hear about "Midnight Sun" being leaked onto the internet?? if you want to read it (at ur own risk!) you can find it on stephenie meyer's official site, but its just the first chapter. its basically the same as Twilight, but its Edward's perspective of things.
also, as it says on stephenie's site, that it is simply a ROUGH COPY, the final draft (if she ever does it) will be a million times better....if thats even possible!!

I heard about it from a girl at work and went on Stephanie's site to see what it was all about. I guess she was working on writing the first book, Twilight, in Edward's perspective instead of Bella's and was going to release it. Now, since it's been leaked, she's not sure she wants to finish it. Although I did read that if all of the talk about it and stuff settles down she may finish it someday. I think it would be cool to read and to add to my collection, I hope she finishes it. :)

I watched Twilight first, and then I read the book and I fell in love with it. I read New Moon, I liked that one, but I didn't really like the film. I am now reading Eclipse (although I haven't for a while), but I am not liking it so much. I think the story drones on for a long time and I am not liking the whole Bella-Jake story, I love Vampires, not Werewolves. However, Stephenie Meyer is an amazing author!
