Please remember that our forum rules state that proper credit must be given when posting images on our boards. This includes information relating to the identification of the original photographer and/or copyright holder of any and all images that we share.

An example of providing the correct acknowledgement of copyright could include:
Photograph obtained from www.wireimage.com on 29 January, 2009. (C) John Smith (www.johnsmith.com) 2009.

Alternatively, at least a name of the photographer is an absolute must. Pictures should not be taken from fansites as these sites do not acknowledge the copyright and ownership of the photographer or Alyssa. In the future, just be careful as Celebrity Loop can be liable for the photographs you post without the correct information. We're just trying to do the right thing by our fellow artists :D So, please don't feel like you are in any trouble. I just want to ensure that everyone is on the same page, and offering our friends who own these pictures the courtesy and respect they deserve :)

Well, first of all, let me apologize. I had no idea you guys were liable for content posted by users. It seems logical in many ways, but the fact that you can't moderate every post, and can't know what someone's going to post until it's too late... I think it's unfair you guys should be held to account for my posts, although I never knowingly post offensive or otherwise questionable material.

Unfortunately, this image came from an archive. I have absolutely no idea who took the photo, or I most certainly would have made sure to cite that photographer. It could be anything up to six years old, and I have no clue where it came from.

If you feel it should be removed, please do go ahead and pull it right out/delete the whole thread.


Note: If you are the copyright holder for this image, please let someone at the Celebrity Loop know, so they can either delete the photo or edit my post to credit you.
