I do understand there was no plans to film one, no DVD is gonna be released, blah blah blah... BUT:

I think the management (not talking to the girls themselves) totally forgot those people that planned to see the shows on their own countries (South Africa, China, ...) and never got the see the girls LIVE (supposedly) for the last time. Neither on a DVD.

I did go to 2 shows and I'd also like to get a DVD, but if this reunion was REALLY to the fans, why have many of them been forgotten? Sad...

If this reunion really was for the FANS, why haven't things been milked a bit more? A photobook from the tour, an audio CD, a DVD! I do believe those things are from management's decision, but... i do also believe the girls can have a word on this.

To build on that post, it was said that a DVD wasn't released because you all didn't want it to be commercialized, but there were SO many people that didn't get to see you all on tour.

We all know how much you girls want to move on, and in all honesty, us fans would like to do the same. We'll always be Spice fans, but the sense of closure was never experienced. The tour was fantastic, so why can't we have it professionally filmed for our memories?

We know it wasn't filmed with cranes and whatnot, but it WAS filmed for the screens, which us fans would be so happy with. If a DVD really isn't doable with the screen footage, then maybe the Spice store can be re-opened and the screen footage can be sold from each date. That way, fans would be able to get the date they went to. The Pussycat Dolls did USB wristbands with screen footage from each night on it, so why can't we have screen footage too?? Just an online digital download that we pay for.

At least one night! Then all the leftover Spice merchandise can be sold alongside the screen footage. 19 can send out emails to all the people that registered on the website for tickets to let them know that the shows are on sale.

Please pass on the word to 19! Like I said, we want to move past the tour just as bad.

PS: Thanks for coming to NY for the Totally Fit signing! It was a dream come true to meet you, and you are so genuinely sweet and welcoming. The workout really works; I ache after every workout, and it really makes me sweat. Plus, it's a ton of fun.

Our site administrator, Feles, dealt with this in a thread on Melanie's main board yesterday. Melanie may or may not choose to reply to this thread; just remember we can ask her lots of questions, so let's shake it up and make it interesting :D

I see no offense on this thread. We're just being honest, and we all know Mel is an honest person as well, so why not share our feelings with her? :) We do know there are no plans for a DVD, as I said on my post.

Yeah, we're just trying to present new ideas, because maybe Mel can pass the word on. We love Mel, and respect what she's doing for all of us fans by personally responding.

PS: I really love your Alice in Wonderland signature! That's my favorite line from the whole movie. "Oh you can't help that. Most everyone's mad here. You might've noticed I'm not all there myself." :p

I know that no harm was intended, and none was caused :) I just wanted to step in as a precaution and make sure that any member who may reply to the thread caused Melanie any distress by badgering her for information. She might be able to shed some light on this, so it's a good question to ask, as I'm sure many fans are eager to own it for their collection :D

Let's wait and see what her reply is :) No matter what the news is, I'm sure we will all be supportive of Melanie and her team.

I don't blame anyone if there's no DVD from the last reunion, and yes... it felt bad because many of your fans like me, in the other side of the world can't see you girls live on stage, and can't see you all either on the DVD documentation.

I still love you, still love the Spice Girls... just like when I knew you for the first time in 1996, I was in 1st grade of Junior High School, and now I'm 24, a Radio Announer, and always proud to playing all Spice Girls or solo's songs... then I'll say : This is my favourite song, from my favourite girlband or singer :)

Yeh the last thing we want to do, is cause offence.. I think its rather sad though that we have been given no official reason why the dvd wasn´t released.. afterall it was the last time we would ever get to see the girls on stage like that ever again, its gutting to know we cant treasure a dvd as part of the memory!!
