I wish it could be uploaded online and the management could do a "pay to download" thingie for the fans, or else I hope the footage gets leaked online, we are THIRSTY for the return of the spice girls concert footage...

My question is regarding your first solo endeavor. I've always been interested in compiling information regarding material that was written, demoed or both for all the girls solo careers as well as the band. I have spent years going over publishing databases, and even formed a website posting the information, and out of all the girls, you are the one that has eluded me most. Obviously, the only material that anyone has found on these databases ended up on Hot (amazing!), par Word Up and Sophisticated Lady, which obviously both were on the Word Up release. I was curious if it was a very concentrated session that only resulted in these tracks, or if you like many artists demoed dozens of songs that just didn't fit what you were trying to accomplish. Roughly how many songs do you recall doing?
*Sorry if that's a bit LONG, but I've waited years to have the possibility of that question being answered, lol.
A: I demo-ed at least 20 songs and then picked the best that I felt represented me.

My favorite photographer would be Mario Testino. We did an Italian photo shoot. He’s so crazy, wild and energetic. And his pictures are beautiful.

My question was, how did you decide on your solo song, and are there any special reasons you chose ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way?’ instead of one of your singles? I’ve always wondered how artists choose a set list or which singles to release!
When I saw you all had solo songs, I hoped you might choose ‘Tell Me’ (as it’s my favourite single of yours) but that said, your choice was brilliant and I enjoyed your performance immensely! It was full of energy and I really looked forward to seeing it every time I saw the show. Was it your favourite number in the show as you could do what you wanted?

A: Because I didn’t have a rock song on my album, I felt like I had to do a cover. Since I am a big fan of Lenny Kravitz, I thought that “Are You Gonna Go My Way” was a perfect fit. It was definitely one of my favorite numbers, but my favorite one to perform was “Holler”, because we got to treat our dancers like dogs!!!

A: The funniest memory from the tour was when we were in New York staying at the Four Seasons. We created our own top floor party, with tiny little cheap speakers and an iPod!!! And we danced the night away and raided the bar!!!
As for the wannabe song, it wasn’t set in stone we just said those things whenever we wanted.
