Heya Melanie! How's it going?!
It's really nice of you to reply to so many questions, and it's great to read all of your answers.. Well I've got a few to ask:
- We all know that back in the days before you signed with Virgin you recorded a lot of songs, such as 'Melody of life', 'Don't look back', 'We're gonna make it happen', 'Sugar and spice' and in most of them you rapped. Then you did it with some other songs like 'Step to me', 'Weekend love' and 'Love thing'.. I'd like to know which rap you had fun to sing the most and if they were mainly written by you. :D
- With "Forever" you've made a strong change of direction in terms of sound/vibe. Was it for you the best choice to leave out of the record songs like 'Treasure', 'Overnight', 'Go go go' and 'WOMAN' (or even the first version of 'Right back at ya') which probably had the same feeling as the tracks from the previous two albums?
