I don't wish to duplicate what I've already said about this on another Celebrity Loop Forum (the books one), but I really recommend Bad Hare Days by John Fitzgerald. It's a very well-written, uplifting account of the author's lifelong campaign to protect Ireland's beautiful Hare species...his adventures and struggles, and how he coped with the many ups and downs of his campaigning experience. I think anyone interested in animal welfare/protection or who cares about our four-legged friends will enjoy this book , as I certainly did. Despite the theme, it's not depressing or "shock horror". It's inspirational, and very funny in parts. A great read, for me anyway!
