Lol The model role I was talking about was a movie role she was trying to get playing a model in the 70's. I guess she didn't get it though. I don't know why she was starving herself for it either, she definitly has no reason to do that. Just kidding. I'm sure she was still eating, just watching to make sure she was eating healthy. Hehe

You're making me hungry for chocolate...and cake. Maybe I'll go find some chocolate cake...

WOW, what fun!!! I had the best time on saturday, meeting fans , signing autographs, posing for pics with the most awesome people. Then hosting the 90 minute show was absolutely a delight. A delight to be ON STAGE again!! I forgot what fun it was to be "live" ;-)

I will be in Montreal october 2-4 at CON*CEPT if anyone is in the area and wants to say hi!!!

I knew it! Delight sounds ab fab Karen. Great to hear you enjoyed it so much. Live on stage is very special, isn't it. Btw, anything funny happened ? Just curious. hehe


As to meeting fans, autographs , posing etc. .. where was it ? Was the location nice ?

I'm asking bec. I went to a weird SG-1 convention some years ago with a pretty bad location, situated in the cellar of a convention center, hard to find, even harder to breathe (Sarah Douglas was a bit pale) no aircon, hordes of peeps, queuing 24/7 and very, very mean bodyguards. I got stuck in this crouded auto-room but I admit that the whole thing was a very fascinating experience. It's also very nice to hear that you could meet your fans. Could you talk to them ? I bet they loved it.

As to laughing .. Oy, good to hear!!

Listen trucker babe, when I quit the 1st time it latest 8 month. Then I took just 1 which was a very bad idea. Then I tried it again and now I'm not smoking since 6 years. So yes .. we can. grin BUT 'thinking' about eating plus smoking or drinking plus smoking is very very very tempting bec. you always are 'thinking' about the good times you had and the fun and enjoyment usually with some friends or at a party. So .. DON'T THINK !!! hehe

As to the weird convention, I only say one word .. Queuing. ARGH Even my british friends didn't like it then and that surely means something. Although, thinking about the stars now .. poor peeps!! Smiling, autographs, bad air and almost no brake at all during the whole oh-so-lovely day ??? Believe me, I wasn't jealous at all but admired them for their patience, humour and politeness.

Well I feel bad for the stars now too. What awful working conditions. Those poor people, sounds like someone needed to do some better planning. I've never been to a convention yet, but I would like to attend one sometime. Hopefully one that's a little better organized than the one you just described. Kudos to the celebs who endured that though, all for the fans, that's really sweet.

As for my truck, I kinda took a detour last night... I had a cigarette and a half last night while I was at work (my co-workers are such enablers). And let me tell you, it was some kind of wonderful. I mean it was really awful, no dout, at first. And then it was just so natural and actaully really satisfying. I thought about going out and buying a pack today, but I haven't yet. Hopefully I can get back on track...even though I just threw away that whole year I had under my belt. We'll see what happens I guess. And congrats to you as well on your accomplishment. 6 years, that's huge! My hats off to you for that deary, I know how hard it is. Thanks very much for the encouragment and advice. I'll try not to think.
