Kristin Chenoweth is an American stage, screen and television actress.

In January of 2007, Chenoweth became the third musical theater performer in history to have a solo performance at NYC's Metropolitan Opera. She has also performed with various Symphonies around the world.

Trademark, her unique voice. She has incredible relative pitch and near-perfect pitch.

Earned a bachelor's degree in musical theater from Oklahoma City University, which she attended on a full scholarship to study voice. Afterwards, she studied for and earned a master's degree in opera performance.

Kristin developed her thesis concert around the poetry of Emily Dickinson. Several of her poems were set to music.

Won a full scholarship to the Philadelphia Academy of Vocal Arts, but turned it down when she received a role in an off-Broadway play.

In 2002, released her debut solo recording entitled "Let Yourself Go," a collection of old standards from the 1930s and '40s. In 2005, she released a second album called "As I Am," which featured various spiritual songs.

Most recently, Ms. Chenoweth had a part in the 2010 comedy, You Again (2010). She has also had roles in Four Christmases (2008), Deck the Halls (2006), Running with Scissors (2006) and Stranger Than Fiction (2006). In 2009, Chenoweth took on the challenging role as "Linda" in the film, Into Temptation (2009).

Won Broadway's 1999 Tony Award as Best Actress (Featured Role - Musical" for her portrayal of Sally in a revival of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." Was nominated as Best Actress (Musical) in 2004 for her role as Galinda/Glinda in "Wicked."

Emmy nominated three consecutive years: 2008, 2009 and 2010. Won her Emmy in 2009 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in "Pushing Daisies" (2007).

Finished 2nd runner-up in the Miss Oklahoma pageant.
