Here's the Link:
http://safesearching.com/?path=blogs/today&id=1586 It's made me pretty sad. I am really disappointed that i won't be able to see the show. Unless of course it is Leaked to the Internet. *Wink Wink* But Like alyssa said....everything does happen for a reason. Although I feel really bad for Alyssa because I think we all know how proud she was of this pilot. and how much she wanted it to get picked up. (Like we all did) XxX Sam

That's unfortunate Alyssa's pilot wasn't picked up. There was a great cast assembled there and the plot sounded interesting. I was looking forward to seeing it. But, as Alyssa said and I believe, everything happens for a reason.

So sorry to hear the news Alyssa.
Sadly I think ABC underestimates the typical fan. I would much prefer a classy show like yours to the nonsense of wife swap and shows like that. I feel they insult our intelligence at times... and it is not just ABC... Anyway, Your day will come... and until then we will wait and stand by to support your every endeavor. You still have a full plate with UNICEF/traveling, TOUCH and us ![]() Wishing you happiness Always, Vick

I'm sorry to hear your new pilot didn't get picked up, Alyssa. I'm sure that when the times right what ever is meant to happen for you next will. Lots of luck and thanks for checking in.

I'm just sorry for ABC, for not picking-up "Reinventing The Wheelers" it would have been a really good show. As your fans we support you no matter what you do, and there still the upcoming movie "pathology"

This is really sad. I wanted so badly to see Alyssa on a weekly basis again. That said you know Alyssa will always survive to see another day of TV.
I must admit Grey's is my favorite show followed by Brother's & Sisters. I loved October road and can't wait for the Grey's Spin off so I can't be too sad. I know you Alyssa. You will blow us away with something amazing really soon. Keep the faith!

Ditto, Alyssa. I'm disappointed to hear the show wasn't picked up for the fall line-up. But, as you said, everything happens for a reason. You certainly have the right mindset about it and I'm sure better things will happen soon. Keep the faith. A talent like yours will surely not go wasted and something even better will come along.
Looking forward to following your great future. ~raggs~

From reading Alyssa's words, it sounds like she truly loved this show and is greatly upset ay ABC's decision, which I understand. I read part of the script and was excited to see how Alyssa performed in some very interesting scenes. Maybe she can post some behind the scenes/episode stills on her site.
We obviously don't know if Alyssa is still interested in returning to TV or will now focus more on film work, to follow "Pathology." If she still has a yearning to be on TV this fall, I'm sure many of the returning shows will be having cast shakeups fot the fall season, so maybe she can join one of them, like she did with "Melrose Place." The good thing is we do know that we will be seeing "Pathology" since it already has a distributor and a scheduled release date, October 19th, just in time for Halloween. We don't have to go through the waiting game of hoping some company will release the movie, we already know there is one. For me this makes, "Pathology" all the more intriguing, since it's most likely the next project we will get to see her in. It seems like her other film, "The Blue Hour" is somewhat still in limbo about actually ever making it to theaters, since it is a very small budget movie, that to my knowledge still doesn't have a distributor. In the end, I'm sure Alyssa will keep busy with her other endeavours and when the right TV/movie project comes along she'll jump at the chance. |

I'm very sorry to hear this news, Alyssa.
Please don't let it get you down. But, on the positive side, it means that you won't have to move across the country. Television and films are only that. But people are people. So as long as you are happy, that's all I could want. So stay happy and strong, and know that we will be with you through whatever the future holds. :BIG HUG: Love Always, Steve

Hi Alyssa
I'm sorry sweet lady... I know how proud you are of the work you did on the pilot and I know you gave it 160 percent and more. This makes me look forward to pathology even more and I know what ever you decide to do next everyone here and I will be behind you 200 percent and more. This is ABC's loss for we still have you ![]() love you Gary
