One of my favortie tv shows is the Soap General Hospital and I've been reading on the shows forum that Alyssa is in talks to play one of the characters. The Character is one of the most popular in the show's history and the original actress Venesa Marcil can't play the part anymore. So I figured you guys would know if it's true or just another rumor???

I am going to say that this is a rumour, like all others. I'm sure if it wasn't, Alyssa and Lin would address these issues with everyone. It would be in a legitimate press outlet, as well, not just floating around other boards and fan websites.
